Hi all,We live in the middle-floor flat of a converted terrace house in London. We've had continuing problems with our drains for going on a couple of months now. It's causing me quite a lot of anxiety at this point.Started with slow draining in the kitchen, we used a plunger to try and clear it and chucked drain unblocker down. It didn't work and we found out that water from the kitchen drain was flowing into the waste pipes from the dishwasher and washing machine...It was a complete, disgusting, smelly mess.Our landlord sent round a 'drain expert', who used what looked like a vacuum to clear our kitchen drain pipe, sorted, yay!Buuuut, then our shower backed up. no biggie, I put some drain unblocker down and it worked perfectly.But THEN, I noticed whenever I empty the washing up bowl in the kitchen sink, the pipes in the bathroom gurgled horrendously, scared the shit out of me, and water was splashing out of the bathroom sink drain. So the guy comes back and vacuums the shower drain...Now the pipes gurgle and water splashes out of the shower drain when I put water down the kitchen sink (or if we use the washing machine). The pipes gurgle slightly when I flush the loo as well. Within the last day or two I also think our shower is draining a little bit slower than before, but I'm so paranoid at this point I might be imagining it.Here is a video of the shower drain gurgling and splashingOur landlord is useless, I spend all my time hounded him to get it fixed properly, but we're on our own til then.Anyone have any suggestions as to what could be causing these issues and how we can fix them?
