I'm starting a new job at a nursey home in a couple of weeks. It's my first job since my last job at a KFC when I was 16 years old. I started that job at KFC to build a PC but the dream to build one quickly faded because I didn't know how to budget my money, and spent it all on Video Games and Pizza. Now I'm 18 and want to start really budgeting my money because I'll have a phone bill, and gas money to worry about. My mother's giving me her old car and told me that if I give her 1k, she'll let me keep it. It's a 2002 Nissan Ultima with almost 230,000 miles and is busted up pretty bad from an accident. I plan on just using it to get to and from work/school. My hours are going to be 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, but when school starts ( which is in around a month and a half ) I'll only be able work 4 hours a day. Any tips on properly budgeting?
