My current whirlpool is on its last legs and I'm looking for a replacement. I'm looking at either a French door model or a side by side. After looking at reviews I'm seeing some common issues like bad ice makers, temperature issues, compressors going out too soon. Does anyone have a suggestion on where I should look or the best I can find on a ~$1000 budget? Thanks in advance!
