Hey folks, thought you might enjoy my '93 Weber grill. It was gifted to me by a now-passed elderly friend of my parents who bought it new in '93. He used it once, threw the cover on it when it was hot, and never used it again until the summer of 2006. I was doing yard work for him, when I cleared some weeds and discovered this gem. He insisted I take it, so I did, and spent the next 6-8 hours cleaning it out, scraping the melted cover off of it, clearing out mice nests, etc. Once I finished up with soap and water, I moved onto a new coat of jet black stove paint. I then disassembled the side tables and bottom tables, and cut and stained new wood slats. Eleven years after the refurb, I think she still looks great! I love the now-retro original paint job on the hood, and all of the original metal components are still in pristine condition. 1993 Weber Genesis
