So you all are best at being frugal. I'm still trying to learn to do so on the small budget I have right now. I am coming to realize spending a larger amount up front is better than buying the same thing cheap over and over. This is about to be my 3rd laptop is about 8ish years and the cost of repair isn't really worth the cost. I've already replaced the hard drive once and that cost $150 and would've been over $200 if I got an SSD card. The hard drive is showing signs of failure again so I'm preparing to save and get a new one.
With that said, what laptop is most durable? I'm willing to buy an industrial grade one. While I want to say ignore costs if it's worth it over all, I am a college student so over say $800 won't be feasable in the near future. I'm just someone who uses it for internet browsing, homework, etc. but also plan to write more and such. I'm trying to avoid Chrome books also as I like the full features of a laptop.
if there are places I should look and keep my eyes on for sales, please also let me know. Thanks.
