Ideally, I would love to have a Herman Miller Aeron office chair, but it's simply not in the cards. It's too expensive, and although used prices are reasonable, I haven't seen one for sale in my area in almost a year (at least one that's not trying to be sold for list price anyway).
Unless anyone has any better alternatives, the WorkPro chairs are looking pretty good to me. I'm specifically looking at the
and the Executive
I have a couple questions. Anyone own either or both of these and can attest to them? Pros or cons? My biggest question, though, is that I like the lumbar support of the Executive chair (especially because I have lower back issues), but the Quantum 9000 uses mesh for the back and seat, whereas the Executive uses mesh for the back but the seat is a canvas/cloth+cushion thing... I feel like that cushion might be prone to more age/wear-and-tear vs. the Quantum 9000's all mesh.
Thoughts?
