I share a college house with three other roommates. Our landlord is very irresponsible and hasn't been by to collect rent in six months. We were finally able to contact him about our missing rent; he had no idea we were missing rent and told us we were up to date. Since then our housing company has been bought out and we have new landlords, who also don't think we owe any rent. I have six months of rent set to the side, we move out in a month, and my roommates think we might be able to just keep it. What should I do in the situation?
