These saucepans are a delight. The thick copper responds quickly and evenly to heat and the thick stainless lining is sturdy and easy to clean. I was able to buy a set of five pans with lids and a casserole for about £130 including delivery to the UK when the Euro took a dive around 2002. This was before the price of copper soared. After fifteen years as my only set they show little sign of use. My precise model is no longer available. Dehilleran upgraded the handle to bronze to make them dish washer able. My only complaint is the steel handle can get fairly hot and does not like the dishwasher. Maybe one day I'll get round to whipping the handle with cord. These are most definitely BuyItForLife.
