I'm reading this old thread, on BIFL sub and there are lots of suggestions.
- All of them suggest mattresses. But where do you get the box?
- Do you buy a box spring from a mattress store?
- Do you need a specific type of box for each mattress? Tuft & Needle has the King box foundation for $325. It will definitely work with their mattress, but will it work with something like Zinus?
Budget is around $1000, but willing to pay more for added comfort. and obviously, this been a mattress it doesn't need to last a lifetime, a durable construction and comfort are what I'm after.
Any suggestions of FIRM mattresses are welcome :-)
