July 2016 my mother passed away and we quickly had most services cancelled and squared away, except for her xfinity account. Every month since she passed we have requested cancellation stating many times she had passed away but they still kept charging us, so we paid the bill as we couldn't get any new services and didnt know what would happen if we stopped. We've gotten fed up and stopped paying as of the March billing cycle. The charges are about $800+ and we dont have the spare money to pay this off nor do i feel we should have to as we didnt live at this house until we inherited it. We still have all of the equipment and we've finally received more death certificates so i plan on going to the store to try and settle this asap. I just need to know if they can make us pay for this and continue denying service or if they have to drop it since we arent our mother, there was no estate, and shes been deceased nearly a year.
