This might be a no-brainer but just a quick little tidbit for you guys. The leather strap on my watch finally broke after maybe 3 years of use. I took it to a watch repair shop a few blocks from home, and their selection was poor. They had two straps for my size watch, one of which was extra-long and so wouldn't fit my wrist, and the other in a style I hated. Tried a place in the mall near work, similar story: they had a very small, unattractive inventory and the lowest price for a strap there was $50. It's a dinky little piece of leather, surely there's something else out there.

So I asked the clerk what size strap mine used. 22mm. Perfect. Went online, after 10 minutes I found exactly what I wanted: a plain, black genuine leather with black stitching and a silver buckle. $13 after sales tax, free shipping. I spent maybe 5 minutes swapping out the bands myself.
