I've noticed in recent months that the prices of variously-sized boxes of my preferred brand of cat litter shift around quite a bit. One week the price per pound of a 26-pound box is great, but the next it's the 14-pound box that's cheap.
Most of the time the cheapest option per pound is a Prime add-on item, and they tend to only be available in limited quantities per order, so you can't order them on their own when you just happen to need litter.
So, if you have cats and are an Amazon user, check out the prices of different boxes of your preferred cat litter whenever you order stuff. You could score some very cheap litter you might not be able to order on its own.
