I was given no warning. I wasn't fired for any reason, just being let go because the company can't pay people anymore.
Am I entitled to ANY sort of government help? I live in Florida so I'm sort of thinking they have the right to let me go at any time.
Meanwhile I have 50k in student loans, about 3k on a high interest credit card (that I have been furiously working down every week from 5k), you know what lets do a breakdown
- 550 a month rent (due the 1st)
- 600 student loan minimum (due the 12th, but this month is covered)
- 250 for car (due every 15th)
- 100 ish min due on credit card
- 60 for internet and electric
zero in savings. What do I do from here?
EDIT: I worked full time hours but was an hourly employee, like I had to clock in. I am not aware of any contract I had for employment either.
EDIT: Okay a lot of unemployment suggestions. How does that work, is it a website, an office? Do I have to go somewhere in person, what are the requirments?

so far I followed the steps for unemployment, but am not qualified. You have to be out of work one week and have NOT bad at least $275 dollars in that week.

Okay not eligible for deferment because I have yet to apply at a job placement agency within 50 miles of my residence.
