Hey people quick question! I'm 22 and I've never lived alone; I had a roommate then moved in with my long time girlfriend. We've since broken up and I'm trying to figure out what is a good amount to spend on rent. I make $16.94/hr and do a fair amount of over time but I'm looking for bare minimum, worst case scenario stuff. My average minimum take home pay is about $950 every two weeks. My only expenses are my car and insurance, and my phone bill. I've got decent credit, no credit card debt, and a very small savings.
