My mother passed away 16 years ago, since then my dad has been receiving around $800 monthy in my name to support us. It'll end once I turn 18 because he won't be my "legal guardian", but what happens if I marry before I turn 18? Does it void in some way? Do I still receive the money because it's technically in my name? I'm not good with personal finance at all and I'd appreciate some help knowing what would happen in that scenario, and anything else that's worth knowing about all of it.
