For the last few years, I've been buying those little toddler size slide/pools when they go on sale at the end of the summer. I can usually snag a decent sized one for $10 or so. Then when it gets warm again, I set up the sprinkler and pool and the kids are happy as clams. It sure beats the $400 pool membership.
But they are 5 and 7 now and are too big for the toddler pool. Right now I have the water hose hooked up to the sprinkler and I tied it to to the top of their swingset slide. But I'd really like something they can splash in a bit, then we can dump the water after it gets all gross. I do not want a semi-permanent one where you have to clean it.
I was wondering what's the best 'backyard water park' hacks you guys have.
