We have a summer house that I ocassionally use as an office - today when I went in and switched the lights on, there was a buzzing / crackling noise and the lights flickered.Obviously I have not kept the lights on but have a question about safety. If I switch off the relevant fuse on the consumer unit, cutting the power to the summerhouse - am I making it safe until such time that we can get an electrician out?I assume by switching off the relevant fuse I am cutting the supply to the summerhouse and therefore removing the risk of a possible fire? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2oB9Tch
