I'm thinking of ditching my car for a bike ride for my daily commute - save on gas, insurance & car costs... I'll give it a shot for about a week and then pull the trigger on getting rid of the car. I can always rent one for cheap for the weekend stuff.
My ride would be about 3mi each way (home<->work)... tarmac roads with a few, avoidable pot holes.
Any suggestions on what type of bikes would be best..? (5' 7.5" male)
