Do to a series of highly unfortunate (and possessively illegal) events I'm having to move out of my current living situation, where most of the furniture has been provided, and into a rental without furniture.
Where ever I move to I'll likely be staying for two years, but after that I would likely move across the country and whatever furniture I do end up getting, I wont take with me do to the cost.
So, what I want to know is, does it make more sense for me to buy furniture, and if so, where's the best place to buy it from? Or does it make more sense for me to make it? I'm a sculpture student so I do have experience with wood and metal working. However, my school's wood shop won't be open during the summer so I might have to pay for another wood shop, it would be $200 for 10 hours.
What do you think? I really enjoy making furniture but I do wonder if it just doesn't make sense.
