I'm an 18-year old college freshman. I lived with my parents until now who provided for me. I 101% depended on them for finances. My FAFSA for the 2017-2018 school year has already been filed and I qualified for next to nothing for financial aid. My parents had an emergency and had to leave the country in which it might be many years before they come back. They only left me enough to pay for my college tuition and nothing more. I have to leave my house next month because my parents put our house up for rent and the new tenants will move in then. I don't have anywhere to go. My parents registered a car in my name but I can't drive it since I don't have insurance for it and insurance prices will be astronomical for an 18-year old independent. I've applied to your minimum wage jobs college students get but I can't work too many hours due to the number of credit hours I'm taking at college. I'm at a loss and don't know what to do.
