I'm not really sure if this is the correct subreddit but I've had my iron rangers for just over 3 months and after a recent heavy rain I noticed that the inside crease on either boot had turned white and hard to the touch relative to the rest of the soft leather of the boot. I think it maybe be because the leather soaked up some water. I oiled the boots and paid special attention to the creases, they went back to normal until another heavy rain where the unsightly white came back. Is that what caused the creases to turn white?
