I'm attempting to replace the sprayer hose on my kitchen sink, and I've made my situation worse than it was when I started.At one point, I was able to get everything connected, but the connection was leaking pretty badly.So I took it apart again, did some research, and discovered that I probably allowed the leak to happen by not using plumber's tape. So I got some and tried to put everything back together.However, now, I can't get the black adapter with the white sliding locks to latch back onto the nipple (or whatever it's called) under the sink.I did not put any tape on the nipple, so the fit there should be the same as it was when it was working but leaky.Here are some pics of what I've got so far.edit to add: At this point, I'd settle for plugging the hole so I can use the sink for a bit while I figure this out. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2ojVZ9U
