Hey guys/girls/inbetweeners/all others.I'm having a spot of trouble trying to build certain key elements for an upcoming cosplay I'm doing during a local event. I'll be cosplaying as [http://ift.tt/2mw4Wxu (a.k.a. Heavy Weapons Guy) from [http://ift.tt/1D8jS8L](Team Fortress 2). Now, the problem I'm having is that I honestly have no clue what materials to use for this build, nor what kind of tools I'll need. The first of the two big problems I'm having are the bullets in the bandolier; obviously I can't use real bullets. I'm pretty damn sure that's illegal here... and expensive as hell, even if it was legal. If I had the resources (i.e. tools and materials) I'd be tempted to just melt down a whole bunch of copper for them, and pour it into a mould to create simple, bullet-shaped lumps of metal....but that's damn expensive as well as difficult, so I'm afraid that's not an option.Furthermore, the [http://ift.tt/2mwfe0J will definitely prove troublesome to build as well. Way moreso than the bullets, I'm sure. I could skip this part altogether, or just go for the much simpler [http://ift.tt/2mxtp7i](Tomislav design) instead... but either way, it'll be at a loss on my account, I feel. Either in authenticity, or just plain ol' time 'n' money wise. But anyway. The bandolier + bullets are an integral part of the cosplay, and cannot be skipped, so I'll definitely need some advice on how to cheaply manufacture maybe 40-50 faux bullets, preferably from some form of light-weight material. Secondly, the Minigun/Tomislav needs to be light-weight as well, since I'll be carrying it with me pretty much all the time.So do any of you handymen/women/inbetweeners/others out there have any suggestions/advice/pointers for me? I've done a few DIY projects before, but nothing this complicated or demanding. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2mcKakx
