So just over a fortnight ago my phone broke, and being a broke student, I havent had the money to replace it yet but this fortnight has been amazing. I haven't been there for someone to grab my attention at any time when i'm away from my computer. I havent had the securety of looking down at my phone when in a slightly awkward situation, or been able to try and avoid all human contanct by doing the same either. The most suprising thing I found though was how I havent been comparing what iv'e been getting upto to my friends. I havent had the chance to look at my friends snapchat stories and feel bad about staying in by myself with the dog than going out and getting drunk . I've been more content doing needed tasks, like finaly soldering my guitar to stop the grounding iussue it had than heading out to go get high with a load of poeple. I'm already stopping comparing my day-to-day life with their highlight reel they portray. Also completly enjoying a gig while not even contemplating the thougth of looking through a lense to get some pictures was great (plus my friend tooks some great shots and sent them to me so win win)
