we have a condo built in 1940s in Jersey City NJ. The condo has a hot water baseboard heater in the kitchen and everywhere else in the condo, and I'd like replace the entire kitchen floor. When I took out a small section of the floor, I saw that the previous owners installed the tiles by using a wire mesh and grout over whatever is underneath. I wanted to remove the wire mesh and screw down cement boards (wonderboard) but just wanted to know how I'll be able to avoid screwing down into the water lines or whatever is underneath. Any tips? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2mLeCG0
