Hey everybody my first post here. I recently moved into a condo and found out the rooms had wall jacks. At first, I thought they were telephone jacks but upon further inspection, I believe they are cat5e jacks for Ethernet.I looked into it further and it seems like it can be wired for Ethernet. However, I'm confused as the jacks seem to follow TIA 568A but the wiring in the BIX Block (they didn't install a patch panel) is completely off. It's just the colours blue, green, orange and brown ( with white following each one, respectively).Am I to rearrange the wires in the BIX Block to suit the 568A from the wall jacks? There is no diagram on the BIX so I don't know which way to start the ordering. Here's a link to some pictures: http://ift.tt/2loBpDE really appreciate some feedback. Thanks. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2mceC2o
