Whaddup reddit,I was wondering if someone around here could help me out with a little problem I have.I've currently gotten a blackout curtain from my parents which has been mounted by a rollout mechanism. The problem however is that it's about 50cm's (no idea what that is in inches) short. It isn't that big of a problem as I've been living with it for over a year, but I am finding it more irritating each passing day.So my question is: Is there a way to lengthen the curtain somehow? I was thinking about buying some blackout-fabric, if there is any, and maybe glueing it to the end of the curtain. This would obviously look ugly as hell, but I was also thinking about maybe applying some velcro tape on the back of the curtain and on the end of the fabric so I can flip the fabric back when I am not using the whole length of the curtain.Would something like this work, or am just in for some trouble? Also, I am kinda poor as a student, will this cost me much? If any of you guys know a better way, please let me know.PS: I am not technical at all. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2n2PhV7
