I'm outside the US.
I like to point out that i like to work on problems and extra responsibilities but its gotten so far that i do 80% of managers job.
I do inventory, invoices, order needed inventory and transport, handle customers, administer my and managers email, list goes on.
I bug tested new program and made manual for it and translated it(i volunteered for it).
I wanted to wait for yearly review but head-manager isn't doing it anymore, my manager will be doing it, so there is no use of waiting for that.
Problem is that i work on a small branch of bigger company. Only me, one other worker and manager. There is no room for promotion, if i ask promotion, there is only one way to go. If i get promotion I'm pretty sure manager will only try to hamper my work.
And finding another job will be difficult because my official occupation was customer service and i can't show work I've done on CV.
I can ask for raise and i probably get it but in long run having customer service as occupation on CV will only harm me.
What should i do? I feel like I'm in a stalemate, too many cons and pros to decide rationally.
Thank you.
