So, I am totally a greeny when it comes to woodworking, or rather diy'ing in general. I've got three pieces of Beatlekill pine that I am wanting to glue together to build a desktop.I've researched quite a bit and was going to just use pocket holes but that just seemed too easy. I bought a dowel tool from rockler but I'm unsure how far the dowels should go into each piece of wood.
