These boots came in for a repair yesterday. A buckle had broken on one of them and the woman wanted it to be replaced even though the boots were literally only a couple weeks old and I said it should be returned. This is a classic example of department store construction you should avoid at all costs AND a super example of why you should support small businesses, craftsmen and craftswomen. It should be noted that these are not particularly inexpensive shoes and this is how the majority of commercial leather goods are made. http://ift.tt/2liAhBF
