Years away from retiring, but what areas of the world would be good to retire that have the following:
1)very low cost of living
2) modern amenities(public utilities, municipal services like police, fire department, etc)
3) high exchange rate on the American dollar
Granted, who knows in the current political climate what the dollar will be worth in 4-8 years. Essentially looking for a nice place to expatriate that my paltry state retiree salary would go far
