Hello everyone! I'm sorry if this is a moronic question but I used to pay electronically and now since I'm in a small town, things are done in a more analog way, if you might.
So I paid my rent with a check which was scanned today. I checked my balance and a bit more than double the amount of the check is being withheld. I am assuming that they deposited/will be depositing to a bank different than the one I use.
Is this normal? Should I contact my financial institution early tomorrow?
