People who have cut out or considerably reduced their television intake - how has it affected your daily life? How did you make the transition and what prompted your choice?
As for me, I am looking to significantly reduce my TV intake. I have other ways I would rather spend my time, but TV just seems easy and mindless sometimes. I want to change that behavior. I don't think I want to cut out TV entirely, though. The occasional indulgence would be okay, because I do enjoy it, I just think I watch too much and it's detrimental to my life experiences at this point - there are much better ways I want to spend my time, like exercising, reading, spending time with others, and taking care general chores that tend to pile up :)
I can't get rid of my TV (i have roommates).
