Hey y'all, all advice and view points are greatly appreciated. My torque converter is going out on my automatic vehicle, which is paid off. It's a '97 with 200k miles on it. It has a few issues that need servicing (~$200 myself) and the torque converter is starting to give (shuddering). Replacing this will cost a pretty penny. Should I start saving and ride my car into the ground and try to sell a non operating vehicle? Or should I trade it in while it still works? My car right now is worth roughly 3-4k. Thank you!
