With the recent "shake up" with unlimited plans, I'm reevaluating my current cell phone situation and realized I'm paying way too much or at least I think I am.
I want to upgrade my phone to an S7 and I'm currently using around 2 gigs of data a month. I travel around so I can't necessarily rely on wifi so I'm looking at the big 4 for service.
Back in the day, it seemed like if you signed a 2 year contract, you'd get a phone for a subsidized amount but now everything is so convoluted with phone leasing or paying for the phone outright.
Also didn't realize that they tack on a "Line Fee" when you're using a fancy pants phone so it's like an extra 10-20 dollars a month on your plan.
