I'm looking to buy a nice, classic set of white plates. I've tried to buy a good set before, and I thought I'd have them for life, but the dishwasher has caused them to develop a crackle. They also become unbearably hot when put into the microwave. So here is the criteria:
Well made Won't get hot in the microwave Totally dishwasher safe
What should I be looking for? What material? What brand?
