My mom is crying right now because she is so stressed out about this and I don't know what to do.
Myself, my mom, dad, grandfather, and now my boyfriend are 5 lines under one account. On Black Friday we switched from Verizon to Sprint because of the huge savings promised. 1. They guaranteed us if we switched to them that day that our phone bill would be half of what Verizon charged monthly for the next year. (Verizon was $300 a month). 2. We added a 5th line (my bf) because it gave us a discount. 3. We got the buy 1 iPhone get 1 free deal 4. We got the unlimited data plan for 5 lines, which was supposed to be $40 each per month. They are not honoring any of these terms after getting us under contract.
The letter my mom got says: they can't offer the terms we requested at this time because of overall balance to credit ratio on open student trades deferred too high. MAX credit amount on installment trades too low. Number if open revolving bank cards too low. Total trades satisfactory that were ever 30 or more days delinquent too low.
Now, the issue is, they promised us this set monthly amount nowhere near $400. They signed us up on a contract, convinced us to get specific phones and lines for these discounts, and had us completely switch over from Verizon without ever mentioning any of these "issues," help, what should we do? The account is under my moms name BTW and she has good credit..
