I am a senior in high school currently awaiting for acceptance into college. Although I live in an upper middle class home, my parents had to use my college fund for debts that they owed during the financial crisis in 2009, and now have no dedicated money saved for my future education as a result. I'm trying to get all the scholarships and grants that I can but will likely still be neck deep in student debt. Recently, my parents got inspired to go on a plethora of family vacations ranging from cruises to a trip to Europe. None of these vacations are cheap, and cost upwards of $4000 each. Although they are fun, I have become increasingly bothered by the spending habits on these trips. I'm worried about my financial future being as a result of a lack of saving. Additionally, I always feel in debt to my parents for spending so much vacation money on my brother and I, and my dad always reminding me about how much he's spent for us during these trips doesn't help. Today, I learned that my dad just booked another cruise trip out of country, and I can't help but to feel infuriated that the money isn't being saved. I don't want to end up buried in student debt and feeling like a financial waste during spring break. What would be a good way to approach my parents on this issue?

TLDR: My parents spend thousand of dollars on my brother and I during family trips, when I would rather have it saved for my college tuition and so I don't feel like a debt slave to them.
