I wanted to replace the old bath spout in our tub, but the nipple connecting it to the water supply was so old and corroded that it broke off when I tried removing the spout. Now I'm left with this broken piece of 3/8" pipe nipple that I can't get out: http://ift.tt/2j4BCLN tried an internal pipe wrench and a nipple extractor, but neither worked. The internal wrench wouldn't get tension inside the pipe, and the extractor set wouldn't fit (not sure if it's because of the angle of the broken pipe or what). I couldn't easily square off the end, either, because the hot/cold and diverter knobs are right above it, so I can't get a hacksaw in there easily. Is there anything else I can try before I have to call a plumber? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2iDD8VQ
