So I work at a fast food restaurant and I'm only 17. About 8 months ago my boss gave me a $0.35 raise because she thought I deserved it. So she asked her boss(the district manager) to give me the raise and said that I got it. Well I don't get a pay stub every week it's just direct deposit so I wouldn't know if I actually got it. But today I asked for my pay stub because I was curious about my last paycheck. I found out that my rate is only 7.35 when it should be 7.70. I was very frustrated about this because $300 is more than my average paycheck. I asked my boss why I didn't get the raise and was told that the district manager must've forgot. I find this hard to believe because she also told me that when she told the district manager to give me a raise she did and that the district manager confirmed with her that she gave me it. I then asked her if I could get back pay since I've been shorted more than a paycheck. She told me I'm not going to get back pay even tho I should have the money already. So now I need help on what to make my next move?
