I was looking at my 401k account through my work which I started 5 years ago, if you look at my cumulative rate of return it’s 60.74% over the last 5 years and when I look up the SP500 it’s 96.39% over the last 5 years, I feel like this is a huge difference and shouldn’t be that far off. I’m in my 30s so I feel like my investments shouldn’t be very conservative since I’m so far from retirement.

Am I missing something? Should I switch my investments that were setup for me by the financial advisor who comes into my work?
