I don’t know anything about his assets, life insurance, paying for a funeral, etc. He was a dentist but had tons of student loan debt (6 figures). I’m his next of kin (he’s not married) (or are his parents NOK?) and I don’t know if he had a will. We never talked about this stuff. He was only 53. How the heck do I find this stuff out?
