Hello! My boyfriend and I are both 21 and in college. We are currently saving up to live alone after we get married (probably in 2 years). I have around 10k saved and I believe he has 6k. We are both fortunate enough to have received scholarships for schooling and our parents pay the other expenses. We both live at home while in school and are very grateful for that. We pay for anything to do with our vehicles including gas and anything else we want/need outside of groceries. I’m mostly wondering how much we should have saved before moving out? We plan to put a down payment on a smaller house instead of renting. I will graduate in a year and make around 70k and he graduates in a year and a half and I’m not sure how much he will make as his major in business. We currently both make $15/hr at our jobs while in school. Any advice helps!!!
