Europe makes up the majority of most international indexes however I simply cannot see how I will end up making more money here than in places like Latin America and Asia.
The Eurozone has higher taxes and regulations on EVERYTHING including corporate earnings and fosters a anti competitive almost lazy culture as high social welfare programs make people there less likely to consume and invest in their own countries.
One exception to this is probably beer and spirits manufacturers.
Combine this with a deflationary headwind to face, growing debt and refusal for immigration I'm seriously suggesting cutting the Euro Zone out entirely and overweighting emerging markets.
Any perspective I might not be considering is appreciated.
