I'm thinking of making some modifications to my company sponsored 401k retirement plan. I stuck with their Vanguard Target Date Fund 2050 for almost the last 8 years, and it's only yielded up to $270k at this point (I'm 39 years old this year). I'm thinking about just switching it to FXAIX (S&P 500) as you can't go wrong with a fund Warren Buffet has suggested.
And, what about diversification? I currently have FSKAX & FTIHX in my Roth IRA, but thinking about selling all of that and put it into 100% all-in into VT.
Lastly, for my taxable, I was thinking of just 100% all-in with VTI.
From this proposed moves, am I prime to do fine for the long-term investing for my retirement? My goal is to have all these funds, collectively, amount to $1 - $1.5 million for retirement.
