Hi there! I hope you’re doing well. About 8 months ago, I decided to start a test prep business. It’s been going to decent. Likely by the end of the year, I will have a profit of 60-70k (depending on how much I decide to pursue College Essays). My day job is in Consulting, which does pay for my living, costs, investments, and really everything.

Needless to say, I will likely have this amount (or hopefully more) every year from now on for a few years. I’m wondering what you think the best strategy would be. I’m currently 22, about to turn 23, and am totally fine taking risks. Do you think real estate, buying a business, etc. would be the best option?

One thing that does matter to me is to have control over my time and not leaving my day job. So in essence, I don’t want to “buy” a job but merely create another income stream that is more “passive” as tutoring is highly not passive.

Thank you!!
