Money Problems - who to talk to?
Over the last 5 years or so, I’ve made one terrible financial decision after another. I currently have $27,000 in credit card debt, multiple 401k loans (from previous home improvements and credit card debt), a personal loan (credit card debt) and 2 loans for a truck and a lawn mower. All of this on top of a hefty mortgage ($2100/month) for what’s supposed to be my forever home. I also have wedding planning looming over my head. I haven’t contributed to my 401k for the last 2 years because of all my other debts. It also doesn’t help that I eat out 4+ times per week. I’m in desperate need of financial help and I’m not quite sure who to talk to. I have accounts with Chase, do I talk to them or is there someone better to discuss this with? I cannot lose this house and will do everything I need to do so. I don’t care if I have to get rid of my truck and push mow my 2.5 acres.
I know I’m an idiot for making the decisions I did. I’m living way beyond my means and I recognize I need to make serious changes right now. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
