My grandmother is 65 years old and its becoming harder and harder to watch her struggle financially as its begun to take a large burden on her mental health. im 19 years old in college and i provide as much as i can which is about $300 a month. She has 4 kids, 1 lives with her which is my mom. None of the 4 kids help her at all financially. part of which is due to 2 of her kids being recovering addicts, my mom included. Her health is bad which is why i believe her life insurance is so expensive. Im the primary beneficiary and I dont need that much money passed down to me (but i also dont know much about life insurance and how it works). She also lives with a partner that doesnt care for her too much; but they provide a good amount of income ($700 a month) which she relies on heavily making it difficult to kick them out of the house. her mental health along with physical health is already very bad and worseing so I hate to see her struggle with finances. She relies heavily on credits sites such as QVC and HSN to buy gifts and such for the family, which i think is a large part of her problem as she now has to face the consequences of paying those bills off every month. Ive attached a list of expenses below. I know this is nobodys problem but hers; I just wish there was more I could do for her. Maybe you guys could provide a better analyzation looking from outside the box inwards. She is also on dsability which doesnt help the case at all. That is the income marked as "SSI" and "SSA".
Edit - My mother is a recovering addict and does not currently have a job, my brother is 16 years old. My grandmother is still in quarantine due to covid (trust me, i know, ridiculous) so its almost impossible for my mother and brother to get a job regardless.
Im also unsure of some of these expenses such as avant, synchrony.
