As the title states, I have about 38K CAD just sitting in my savings account. I(22M) currently live in the US and have no purpose for this money now or in the near future. For context: I am a Canadian PR and have no investments accounts there. I have CDs and HYSA here in the US. I was considering exchanging the currency to USD and buying a BMO Alto 5.15% 12 month CD with all of it. What other options would be a good, safe way to invest this amount? Thank you!
