hello everyone. i am 21 years old and currently working a full-time job. back in 2022, i developed a shopping addiction in an attempt to fill a void. bad, horrible, remarkably idiotic mistake. i have a discover card and a savor one card. my discover has a credit line of $4.8k and the savor card has a $3k line. both of them are maxed out. every time i made a payment, it felt like it was a futile effort due to interest. i feel like an utter fool and i'm reaping what i sow right now. i've learned from this mistake and i never want to make it again. can you guys give me some advice to get these paid down? is consolidating my debt worth looking into, or do y'all have any other advice? thanks, y'all. i have such a heavy heart realizing the severity of my actions and i never, ever want to end up here again. i have two cats who rely on me and i'd like to get the hell outta my parents' place at some point. i really screwed myself up here and i'm kicking myself for it every day.
